The Hazardous Waste Supplement
A ‘Draft for Consultation’ version of the Regional Waste Plan Hazardous Waste Supplement (HWS) was agreed by the Regional Waste Group's Members Steering Group on 24th March 2005 and was the subject of a stakeholder and public consultation exercise running from Wednesday 27th April to Wednesday 25th May. 105 organisations were identified as potentially having a stakeholder interest in the matter of hazardous waste; these organisations were mailed a paper copy of the HWS together with a list of questions to help identify the key issues. The same documentation was made available to the wider public on a dedicated section of this website that invited comments from any interested parties. A “Report of Consultation” summarised and responded to each of the comments received.
