The South East Wales Regional Waste Group has a Technical Group of officers from local government, the Welsh Assembly, Environment Agency Wales and other government bodies, and representatives from the waste industry and environmental groups.

The Regional Waste Technical Group is responsible for gathering data, developing and assessing options, and advising and making recommendations to the Members Steering Group.
